Zeleni Vir i Vražji prolaz

Zeleni vir (345 m) is a powerful spring at the bottom of a shallow cave, located at the base of a picturesque, seventy-meter-high, layered rock formation. A stream cascades down this rock like a white curtain, showering the entrance with thousands of droplets. It got its name from the emerald-green color of the water in the small lake, which is the source within the cave and is not immediately noticeable.

In the immediate vicinity of the hydroelectric plant, there is a beautifully landscaped tourist lodge with a restaurant that offers homemade dishes from Gorski Kotar, blueberry and other fruit desserts, as well as the famous Štrudla from Skrad.
